Knitted or Crocheted

Here are some little numbers I whipped up in between projects over the months. The stools I made last year while I was in Tassie (thats short for Tasmainia) the cushion tops are crocheted courtesy of my mother in law's stash of weaving wool. The legs were courtesy of their garden from thinning out some scrub.  They had some bush fires there some months prior and they needed to make a safe clearing around the house. Its what you do when you live in the "land down under".
So I put some logs from their thinning to good use and my father in law kindly put it together for me.
The knitting is a shrug I've just finished after I hit gold in the op-shoppe: 7 balls of wool for $4. I have to say that if you haven't tried using bamboo knitting needles, you must; they work a treat.
Well that's about it from me. I hope you all have a great easter. We are off camping, so we are without computer, sewing machine and evening light. Maybe I can take my crochet with me... or decorate the tent :)
